Here is a Smile from my GrandDaughter Elsie... She will have a little sister in January.

I am receiving more Happy Go Lucky fabrics today, so time to list a couple more Quilt kits. These kits, with a couple fat quarter bundles and some yardage can be purchased at my Etsy Shop Patchwork Plaza. I will be listed them later today. If you are interested in purchasing the Quilts they are listed in my Etsy Shop Quiltville.
This first Quilt I call Scrappy Go Lucky, It is for your bolder side.
I used my Scrappy Trails pattern and Nel Whatmore’s Happy Go Lucky fabrics. I chose the darker colorway for this Quilt; the Gorgeous Bold colors will bring life to any room. I can just imagine this Quilt draped over a plain couch. For the backing I used the Sea Green Trefoil fabric. (I call it teal) I Love my Teal....
The kit includes 15 fat quarters and my Scrappy Trails pattern. Backing and binding can be purchased separately while supplies last. This is a Jelly Charm friendly pattern, so I have added a bonus sheet for cutting the fats.
The second Quilt I call Happy Go Lucky Baby, for that special little lady.
I used the Blue colorway from Nel Whatmore’s Happy Go Lucky fabrics for this quilt. I Love the combo of the bright blues and oranges. The pattern is my Little Lady Jane. The backing is the Well Worth Waiting For in Blue/Orange. This Quilt has multi-patchwork blocks with a scrappy binding and matching pillow. For the small pillow I did an orange decorative feather stitch between the patchwork.
The kit includes 10 fat quarters, backing and my Little Lady Jane pattern.
You will need to purchase poly fill for the pillow.
If you have read down this far guess what? I am doing a "Share the Love" giveaway. Because I Love these fabrics I am doing a giveaway of a sample Fat Quarter Bundle.
To Enter simply leave your opinion in a comment regarding the Happy Go Lucky Fabrics.
All purchase made in either of my shops during the giveaway will get a second entry.
I will announce the winner in about 10 days.
That is all I have for today. Keep on Smiling.
Happy Quilting Always
Carly

Love your use of the happy go lucky fabrics in the scrappy quilt. Any saturated color in fabric is a hit with me. Would be great to win the sample pack and make a quilt like that of my own. Thanks for all your inspiration to other quilters.
Very nice & bright colors! Happy Labor Day weekend!
Your Happy Go Lucky quilts are sooo beautiful! I love the orange and blue together in the darling baby quilt...and the little pillow is too sweet! Like always, you have done amazing things with these fabrics!
i love the scrappy, piece-y look of these quilts especially with such bright vivid colors! what a winning combination.
I read out of my google reader now and your granddaughter is what caught my eye, she is adorable and then to find out you are having a giveaway...how fun... I love the colors you use in your quilts...bright and happy.
First, your quilts are beautiful! The new fabrics are so bright and cheerful...I could have a lot of fun with these fabrics!
The Happy GO Lucky fabrics are appealing because there are a number of values in different colors, all of which go together but are not so "matchy matchy". I like collections that have darks, mediums and lights. Thank you for this giveaway. P.S. Your granddaughter is a cutey.
I really like both of those quilts, but the blue and orange really looks sweet. Speaking of sweet...cute little Elsie. Can't help smiling right back at her!
Hi All and particularly Carly for making gorgeous quilts out of my fabric. Carly I recieved my patterns from you today what a lovely surprise thank you!
I have been taking photos of our quilts in my garden. I'm going to put a link to your blog on my blog. It's so nice to be in touch with you all from over here in England Happy quilting Nelx
Carly those fabrics will work perfect with the drawstring pattern I purchased from you. Have you considered making the drawstring pattern in a mini version for little girls?
those fabrics just make me smile! I love when fabric does that :)
I love both quilts. The first one is nice and bold and appeals to my wilder side. I love the softer colors in the second one too. That one would be for the days when I am feeling calmer and just wanting to snuggle under a quilt and read a book :)
Very nice quilts and beautiful colors!
Thanks Everyone, there is also a 3rd quilt I made from these fabrics. You will need to scroll down a couple posts to see it.
Your quilts are beautiful, love the bright cheerful fabrics you've used. Thanks for the chance to win.
Love the bright cheerful colors! Thanks for entering me in your sweet giveaway :-)
The fabrics in the Happy go lucky collection are very flowery- they are bright and look like they might mix well with some of the Kaffe Fassett fabrics.
Thanks for the opportunity to win such pretty fabrics. You can find my blog here:

I have very few of those beautiful contemporary bright fabrics in my stash. I find they lift my heart, but it would also be challenge for me to use something out of my normal comfort zone. Do you know, I like being challenged!
How exciting, fabric that matches my attitude....happy go lucky (most of the time anyway!). Thanks for the chance to win, I love the way it all works together in the quilt. Hugs Naomi

I love the boldness and "fun" of the colors and pattern. I bought the happy go lucky scrappy kit and got it today. i worry the pattern will be too big for the small pieces. Any opinion?

Mary, are you asking if there is enough fabric in the 15 fat quarters to make the quilt? The answer is yes, I used the same 15 for the quilt I made. If you have any questions feel free to email at the email address listed in the pattern.
Absolutely gorgeous use of color. You just amaze me with your creativity. Have some of your patterns and want them all! Great work!
