Winter Madness
Where have I been? Now that is a good question that I don’t even have a good excuse for. The Holidays came and gone and I am stuck in Wisconsin winter.
My Granddaughters are getting big. Paige just turned one and Elsie is now four. Wow, time just flies by now doesn’t it.
Paige's first Birthday

Elsie turns 4...

Lance text me this photo of Paige, he said "Waiting for Lunch and apparently a nap was more important.

This Adorable Baby Quilt I created with fabrics by Natalie Lymer for Lecien called “Woodland” Those little fairies are too cute!

After numerous requests I now have my Tangled Trellis pattern available. And all my patterns are now Available in PDF.

This one I call Fig Tree Flutters, I love to mix Fig Tree fabrics together. I added little cream colored triangles, somewhat reminds me of butterflies.

This one I made with the Annie's Farm Stand Fabrics and my Saria's Toybox pattern.

I bought the whole collection of Sweet Birdie fabrics by Kathy Davis for Free Spirit. I just adore these cute fabrics. I do have a few kits available at my other etsy shop Patchwork Plaza.

If you know me well you know I Love Love Dr. Seuss. Here I made my Jumbo Drawstring Bag with the brights of Dr. Suess.

And here is the Lorax fabrics, can't wait for the Movie, will probably have to take Elsie, Can't imagine John wanting to go with, ha ha
I sold 3 of these quilts before I even finished the first one.

Here are a couple cute Quilts with Riley Blake Fox Trails

That's all I have for today.
Have a great day

Saria's ToyBox Quilt Pattern
I think November flew by faster then October. Cold has set in and snow flurries fill the air. Soon we will be covered in a blanket of white and freezing.
Show and Tell this month starts with my new pattern "Saria's ToyBox." Saria is my Son's Husky. I think it is such a pretty name. Saria’s ToyBox is a delightful baby quilt created with bowtie blocks and easy patchwork. It has just enough white to make the colors pop! I am a Huge Fan of Dr. Seuss. I remember reading all the books to my kids and now I read them to my Granddaughters. I am in Love with the Dr. Seuss fabrics so had to use those for the cover Quilt.
All my patterns are now available in PDF too!

Cute fabrics called Annie’s Farm Stand by Holly Holderman of Lakehouse Dry Goods. Gives Saria's ToyBox a totally different look.

Did I mention how much I Love Dr. Seuss

Flurry fabrics by Kate Spain. I used my Bouquet of Patchwork pattern for this one.

Dr. Seuss "The Lorax" these prints won't be available until January but I got my hands on a bundle. Lovin' Those Dr. Seuss prints.

OMGosh you gotta Love these modern LouLouThi fabrics by Anna Maria Horner. Too pretty to cut up so I made just a big block Quilt.

Adorable Hoo's in the Forest, Love those litte fawns. Fabrics by Doohikey Designs.

A Cute Baby Quilt with Kate Spain's Terrain fabrics

That's all I have for today, till next time

Bye bye October
Oh My Gosh where did October go! Well, for me I think the first half of the month I was waiting for the new iphone4s to be released, and spent the second half of the month playing with my new phone. I did get some custom orders completed but I only have two new quilts for show and tell.
The first is the adorable Riley Blake Fox Trails. I did a basic patchwork with the tans and creams. I really like the calmness of this quilt.

The second I created with Kate Spain’s Fabulous Terrain fabrics. Kate’s fabrics always bring a smile to my face with her designs and choice of colors.

Meet my Granddaughter Paige.

I best be getting at my Christmas Quilts before November passing me by.
Have a great day!

Autumn has arrived
The leaves are starting to turn and there is a chill in the air, Autumn has arrived.
Here are a few of my latest creations.
I Love the Riley Blake Delighted fabrics, I think they look just adorable in this tumbler quilt.

The very last of my Hooty Hoot fabrics.

Going thru my scrap bin using up a bunch of vintage style prints in this tumbler quilt.

Moda's Rooftop Garden, bright colors for Fall.

Here I used Sandi Henderson's new Secret Garden, I love the pretty designs but was disappointed with the thin weight of this fabric.

Baby's Secret Garden/Make this Quilt
Make this Quilt!
This quilt is so easy, I just cut (50) 5.5" squares. Pieced 5 rows with 10 patchwork squares to a row. The white strips between the patchwork are cut 4" wide. 2 yds for backing and binding. Simple one day project.
Inspired by Twinkies
I nicknamed this pattern my Cream Filled Patchwork. The patchwork is the cake and the white is the cream filling. Inspiration comes from everything around us
I used Sandi Henderson's Secret Garden fabrics and Free Spirits cream designer solid.
I call it Baby's Secret Garden

A little bit of Fall and Winter
I combined Deb Strain’s Fabulous Fall and Coming Home fabrics for this Autumn Quilt. I will never get tired of the Fabulous Fall fabrics, I think they are my all time favorite.

I don't normally make Christmas Quilts this early but when I saw these Candy Christmas fabrics by Doodlebug Designs for Riley Blake I new my Dragonfly Hop pattern would be perfect and I just couldn't help myself. I love the Gingerbread Cookies.
